Wait! It’s been two months?

Hi everyone. It’s been over two months since I last blogged and sincerely? I have missed this a lot. I made a conscious effort at the beginning of the year to do a lot of posts this year and be consistent while at it. Many ideas have come to my head as regards different categories that can be introduced to the blog but as fate would have it, my laptop got drowned in water in June, due to a heavy rain fall that caused some flooding in the house. The laptop got so soaked that even the battery was dripping, I tried to salvage it but fam, it is irredeemable. This really cut me bad, because despite the fact that the laptop was not in its best performance mode prior that time, at least I knew I had something to manage before getting another. The flood just shattered my immediate hope of dishing out regular posts on the blog and if possible, making it an everyday thing. After all, I already fashioned out different categories which I believed would always have content to fill them out. The past four or five months have been full of activity, drama, learning to understand and accepting to be re birthed. I know that ya all deserve to get all the details but let us wait a bit and look forward to the end of year review? You know I never forget to do that, I will try hard to make the one for this year very detailed and interesting because trust me, it has been an interesting year and share it with you, I will! Rant over please? Yes please! I am introducing this category to the blog and I am really excited about it. I’ll be doing a review of different places I visit and giving recommendations( I mean if I think they are good enough). I do not go out all the time but as you guys got to know from my last post, I am in Abuja now and I think there are loads of wonderful places here that can be visited ( I have visited some). This is not to say the reviews will be limited to Abuja alone, oh no. I will be talking about different places I visit within and outside Abuja and hopefully, ya all can join me in the journey. I won’t only be doing review of places, I will be doing product and services review. These include body creams, scarves, clothes, customer service, apparels, makeup, shoes, bags, e.t.c that I have bought or been gifted with. If I get to use a service or product and I feel to share with you all, I definitely will. I will talk about how the purchase went and this includes the customer relations of the vendors involved, service quality, delivery process and all that. Sounds like fun right? I think so too. Another thing I am considering was borne out of a conversation I have had with some friends in the past. I regularly hear complains from lady friends that they have no other friends in Abuja and many times, they run out of things to do. They do not want to do anything extra, they just need fellow ladies to hang out with sometime and do life with. This got me thinking; how about organizing a girl group, where we meet periodically, eat good food, talk about ‘stuff’ and help one another grow? I have so many ideas swimming in my head as regards this but I haven’t exactly decided on one path. I will be glad to get suggestions on what can be done to actualize this and to know that lots of people are actually interested. Guess what guys? The November happiness challenge is almost here! I know you are thinking: wait what, it’s a year already? Oh well, it is September so it’s just a bit over a month to November and this year has to be huge! I will be accepting collaborations and ideas and sponsorships and what have yous this year and I hope not to be restrictive at all. What this means is that we will have many wonderful and interesting activities because trust me?, I am really open to ideas! It is not over. I have talked about fashion blogging over and over again and it is time to take the plunge. I am ready, very much so and I hope to make it relatable, chic and classy. I will be giving out fashion and style tips the way I see it and in another way, bringing world fashion ideas to your screens. I know I have seniors in this, I would not mind suggestions and ideas on how to go about this. I believe we all know life itself is a learning process and we have to be open to learning and relearning. By the way, my pallazo selling business is going on smoothly and I appreciate everyone for the continuous patronage. You know you all make the omotolaniee brand and I cannot thank you enough. Thank you and I really look forward to bonding more with you. I will be back. BOS.
