DAY 8 : THE NOVEMBER HAPPINESS CHALLENGE
It’s another beautiful Monday. We started this Challenge last Monday, Wow! Have the past seven days helped you? at least a wee bit? I hope so.
Hello everyone, It’s the eight day of our Challenge and I’m very excited because this week is looking productive already. I hope this excitement extends to you all.
I did not forget my promise of giving out gifts to a winner. I have decided to have two winners (Yes, I’m nice like that). We’ll have a female winner and a male winner. The female winner gets something beautiful from Nuellamichaels.com
while the Male gets something I’m still working on (Wait on it guys).
The way life is set up, nobody really is an island. No matter how hard we try to withdraw ourselves from people and live in solitude, We cannot deny that sometime, if not all the time, we just want someone to reach out to us and let us know we are not alone in our constant struggles. I understand people who find it hard to share their problems due to the fear of being misunderstood or judged but at the same time, the very old saying that A problem shared is half solved still remains valid. Some of us have gotten solutions to certain immediate problems just by sharing with a friend and even if not a solution, that feel of not being alone in a predicament might be a step to getting out of it.
So today, We are all going to take a step outside our Shells. I said ‘shells’ because I know many of us have withdrawn into a shell and we just prefer not to share our problems. We’ll ‘unshell’ ourselves a bit today without any inhibitions. We are going to foster some trust with at least one of our friends and make them a confidant. No, don’t be scared of being judged. Do not bottle it in. You’d be amazed at how better you’ll feel. This is the challenge!
- Get across to someone (Friend, sibling, parent, anyone)
- Confide in them, totally. Bare it all!
- Watch yourself get better.
Note: If you can’t think of someone, holla at me here email@example.com. I promise to lend a listening ear.
There is surely a smile today, It’s Monday and you all deserve to smile too. Please smile back at me.
I’ll be back. BOS!
