Day 29 : The November Happiness Challenge

It’s the last feature for the Challenge this year and the post will be done by Mansurah Alli-Oluwafuyi. Mansurah is an amazing soul through and through and I still can’t believe that we were not friends while in University despite being hostel mates. This is not to say that we had issues or anything, we just probably never got the chance to know each othe   but Alhamdulilah, through social media, we have connected in many ways and trust me guys, her awesomeness shines through every time. As a HR Enthusiast, she is quite passionate in helping people to achieve their goals through proper documentation of the  recruitment requirements and I was recently a benefactor of her magnanimity . She helped to review my CV  for free and this was done for a host of other people. She also does spoken words (Poetry)  and you guys really need to hear her speak. Sprung everytime, I am. She writes: A Love Challenge. A will to change. To change the colour of love, we need to first paint the world with a billion colours. Perhaps also drop the sword and say the words. Throw away the hatred and spread only love. Turn your enemies to friends shaking hands. We need to change and this change, begins with us. Change is to alter the mind and to unlearn the evil we already know. It is a modification of our lives and a reality to our perceived perfection. Change is to first learn, then to know, and ultimately to reveal who we really are. To change the world is more one that begins within than it is a collective dream. It is a time to be, and to reach out for the peace we seek, a gift we give from the gifts we’re given. A time to draw the fine lines on which goodness and fairness reflect, wherein lies man’s lost values of love, peace and justice, the core we neglect. Oh but if you were to change the world! To live by a purpose, bringing hope, faith and love to everyone, old and young. Strength to the people, to those who are weak. Healing to the sick, hope for the poor, kindness to the children of the world. To show respect and mercy to the old and frail, love to the strangers and enemies, a clamour for justice to prevail. To be human and kind, as we can be both. And how wonderful it would be; the light of all that is love, that shines bright through our little eyes. And how wonderful it would be, if we could reach the stars, and pull down one for every heart. Love, like a single simple smile, could travel round the earth, the good we send forth can be passed through generations, living and those unborn, and so we should pass this forward.   We are not Kings and Queens only by sitting on iron thrones, the royalty within through our strength, imminent, is enough to change the world. But these how do we plan to achieve when we have failed to give? When little things are the most difficult for us to forgive? When the change we seek is only a song we lip-sync? How is life for people happy and safe, would we leave the world a better place? Remember, we are only as true as our last words and only as good as our last deeds. So let’s start an epidemic quick and get the world infested with love!   To the slaves in Libya and the world over, spread love. To the boy begging for alms, show love. To your neighbour in need, show love. To your friend in distress, show love. To your family and friends, show love. To yourself most importantly, show love.   Sometimes, our happiness and joy are derived from spreading love and happiness to others. Remember #OurReligionIsLove and it is possible to be both Human and Kind. Thank you! Today, we will be spreading love in more ways than one and this can be done through different means. Smile to that stranger, care about  your neighbour, tell your parents  you love them, pray for the world and let everything about you speak love! I’ll be back. BOS

When the world goes rough.May we always find our ways.May we be tough through all tribulations and come out as winners. The world is ours to conquer so let’s live it.
