Day 28: The November Happiness Challenge 2020

Bisayo Busari Akinnadeju, remember this name! I have been blessed in this life, and this blessing is bountiful. My life is filled with wonderful people who treat me right and have my back always. I am surrounded by humans who would go the extra mile for me, and whose love for me is so beautiful that I sometimes want to cry. Sister Bisayo is that sister that I would count twice when I’m counting my blessings. She has taken me as her own sister, and she lives up to this in every way imaginable. She is very kind to me and she never hesitates to let me know that she’d always be there to hold my hand when need be. She advises me in the best way and she lets me know how proud she is of me. Lots and lots of things she does to make me feel enough and appreciated, I can’t mention them all. I remember when I just had Baby F and I was supposed to be alone for some days due to some unforeseen circumstances. My mum reached out to her to let her know the situation and how it wasn’t safe for me to be at home alone with a four week old, since my husband was away for work. She immediately responded that her house was available for me to stay, and that mum should not worry at all because we would be in good hands, that she would try her best to make us comfortable. Note that she also had an infant at this time. She had an infant, a toddler and a school age son. Imagine having these and still offering to take a new mum and her new born in, I bet not just anyone can handle this or even think of allowing it. But my sister? She did that and more! She made me feel so at ease and catered to F like it was the most natural thing. She gave me lots of encouraging talks and she let me know that I’m going to be a wonderful mother, despite my fears. On one of the days we were with her, she was praying at night and I joined her. She prayed so much for me that I shed a tear. You know those heartfelt prayers where someone prays for you, for your partner, born and unborn kids, friends and everyone. She went deep into prayers seeking everything good for me and I really understood more that prayer is indeed a love language. Watching her pray for me made me know that the love she has for me is genuine, and fam, I’m not letting her go ever! Sister Bisayo has come through for me many times, and I really can’t tell it all. It is no wonder that my mum is taken with her and that everyone who gets to know her through me would have one or two good things to say about her. She is smart, intelligent, accommodating, industrious, thoughtful, prayerful and more. She does huge things and I’m so proud to call her my sister. Heard of ProjectOne Nigeria? She did and does that! She is a patriotic and magnanimous Nigerian who strives her best to better the life of people and let Nigerian citizens know that being great begins with them.
Thanks for being a pillar, and someone I can always regard as a sister and friend. Thanks for all that you do for me, and thanks for giving me great counsel from time to time. I want you to know that I’m in awe of all you do and all that you are, and I pray that God continues to shine His light on your path. I pray that your beneficial desires are granted, and that God makes you content with them. I love you, big sis, thank you for everything! Today, we are going to settle a grudge. You know that friend or family member you’ve been mad at or vice versa? Reach out to them and let them know that you are willing to let it go. I know it can be hard, but you need to do this for yourself, to keep your sanity. If you can’t do it immediately, you may take your time, but please establish the intention that you are willing to let a grudge go. I’ll be back. OBA
