The November Happiness Challenge
Day 19: The November Happiness Challenge 2020November 19, 2020
Many years ago, I did a tweet that I had never found my birthday mate and it felt like I was the only one with that birth date, I included the date in the tweet. You know how twitter works, before I knew it, I had seen many people respond to me that they were my birthday mates and we all laughed about it. Amongst those who responded was Princess, we sent messages to each other and kicked off from there. I was later to know that she was studying Law outside the country and that she left Nigeria to do that. We got close and we looked forward to when we would physically meet each other. She graduated Uni with her first and Masters degree, and then she came to Nigeria where she had to go to Law school to get certified here. I needed to do something in Abuja around that time so it was a no brainer that we’d see. I visited her at her place and it was pure vibes, happiness and fun. We bonded very much and it just sealed the fact that we were destined to be friends. It was at this time that I found out that not only were we born on the same day and month, we were also born on the same year, this makes us twinnies! Princess has been an all round awesome friend since then. She actually paid for the photo shoot session the first time I tried my hands on business. She got the photographer and offered herself as a model. Despite how far her place was to the venue of the shoot, she made sure to stay with me all day to ensure that everything went well. If you check the pictures for the first collection of Pallazos I sold, you’d see one beautiful lady beaming at the camera all smiles, yes, that’s her. It doesn’t end there, she runs a business and she was willing to plug me to her source if I needed to start same business. I think this is very huge, not everyone would offer to do this, I was so amazed and I let her know how special she indeed is. She is soft spoken, calm and ever ready to help, I really have not met anyone who told me that Princess flared up for them or that she said horrible things to them. She is so pure, so so pure. Before I had my baby, she buzzed to let me know she would be getting the fabrics for the naming ceremony for me and I shouldn’t bother with payment. Look at that! Now let me burst your bubble, the tailor ruined the design I gave her to make and I felt very bad because the fabric was a really expensive one and it was also gifted to me by Princess. I was displeased for a long time and I couldn’t even face her. When I eventually did, she told me I should have let her know earlier and that I shouldn’t worry about it because she would send me another fabric! Again, that is Princess, that is how she is. Never complaining and always ready to come through. Princess sells very beautiful fabrics and they are unique and affordable, I mean, she’d give you the best prices and she can supply as many as you want for your Asoebi packages. Her store is HouseofMoh Fabrics on Instagram, you should check her out. She is very intelligent and she gives good counsel. I really love holding conversations with her because she drops gems and she makes you take life as it comes. Of course, this twinnie of mine makes me happy and I wouldn’t trade her for anything in the world! Today, we are going to write out the things we are grateful for. It is the actual gratitude challenge inside the happiness challenge and I’m here for it.. So tell me, what are you grateful for?
